1/2 cup chopped Pecans or Walnuts (optional)
1 1/2cups chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 tsp Clove
1 tsp Ginger
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Iodized Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/3 cup 2% Milk
1 cup Canned Pumpkin
2 Grade A Large Eggs
1 tsp Nutmeg
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray loaf pan with non-stick spray.
Mix sugar and oil first, then add eggs and mix well. Next, add milk and pumpkin.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove. Add to pumpkin mix, mixing well. Then, add pecans. Pour batter in pan.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for about ten minutes before removing from pan.
